Deborah Kampmeier – Mentor
Deborah wrote and directed the highly acclaimed feature, Virgin, which was nominated for the 2004 John Cassavetes Independent Spirit Award (for movies under $500,000) and won Best Screenplay at the 2003 Hamptons International Film Festival. In 2007, her controversial film, Hound Dog played at Sundance, starring Dakota Fanning & Royn Wright Penn.
She has taught at New York University, the Stella Adler Conservatory, and the National Shakespeare Conservatory. Deborah is Amber’s personal mentor through New York Women in Film & Television.
