Eat, Eat, Eat, Pray, Love?
July 14th, 2010On Women’s Wednesday I talk about women in media.
Below is the trailer for the upcoming film “Eat, Pray, Love” starring Julia Roberts.
Somewhere I read that Roberts was excited about this story because it gave women the freedom to eat.
I thought this was a ridiculous idea, but perhaps it’s true. Are women so terribly self-conscious that we can’t discuss food without thinking about weight and appearance? Should dress size stand in the way of loving food and life?
Are there any ladies (or fellas) out there that would like to comment on such a personal topic?
Did you read the book? And are you planning on seeing this movie?July 14th,2010 Blogging, Video, Wordplay Wednesdays | Sections: appearance, Eat Pray Love, food, Julia Roberts | No CommentsALMT-WW: It’s between Wordplay and Women…

ALMT-WW: Wordplay, Watercooler, Women, World, or What?
March 10th, 2010On ALMT-Wordplay Wednesday I like to monkey around.
We’re undergoing some major online renovations over here at ALMT and I’d love to get your feedback with a possible new direction for the blog. As you know, I love games and puzzles. That’s the idea behind Wordplay Wednesdays. But recently I got a couple of ideas that perhaps could be more interesting to you guys. And if you have other suggestions, I’m all ears.

March 3rd, 2010On ALMT-Wordplay Wednesday I like to monkey around.
This is, quite possibly, one of the coolest things I’ve found on the internet. Less of a game, more of an interactive movie. It takes a little while to load, but trust me. It’s worth it.
